(This week I want to give our new Director of the Calvary Weekday School a chance to introduce herself. – Pastor Steve)
Dear Calvary Church Community,
I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Patty Lockard and I am so excited to be the new director at Calvary Weekday Preschool for the upcoming 2019-2020 school year!
I live in Frederick with my husband, two sons, and one daughter as well as two dogs. Our family enjoys spending time at Deep Creek Lake and going to the beach.
I have worked at Calvary for the last six years as a teacher in the four-year-old program after having two of my three children attend the school. Prior to coming to Calvary, I worked as a teacher for Frederick County Public Schools for many years in a variety of school settings and roles.
I believe that Calvary Weekday School is a very special place. The school provides a well-rounded program in a caring, nurturing environment that builds readiness for success in school and in life. I am excited to have the opportunity to collaborate with Reverend Larsen, the steering committee, the staff, as well as the entire Calvary community, as we continue to make the Calvary Weekday School the best it can be.
In the coming months, I look forward to meeting you and am always open to feedback or suggestions regarding our school and the programs we provide. We are so appreciative of the Calvary Community for the ongoing support of our school. Together, we can continue to make Calvary Weekday School a wonderful place for children to learn and grow.
