What’s it going to look like?
We are marking a year since the pandemic hit us here in Frederick. Things continue to change week to week. More people are getting vaccinated and more vaccines are in the pipeline. The CDC has offered guidelines for those who have been vaccinated. The warmer weather and the longer days help us feel that spring is on the way.
Easter will soon be here (April 4). What will that look like this time around? We will continue to offer a virtual service online through YouTube and Facebook.
We will be holding two services in the sanctuary that morning 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM. We will have organ and piano music and lilies and tulips to decorate the space (order information below). We will have communion to share together that day. We will however require everyone to wear a mask and practice social distancing. We ask that people let us know they are planning to attend so that we can know how many to expect. There will be a limit to how many people can be in each service.
One of the things that we so greatly miss is the chance to see one another and be in fellowship. We are planning to have a fellowship time for people to meet together in Memorial Park across from the church at 8:30 and 10:30 that morning. People can also linger in the park after the services as well. It would be great to be able to see one another.
Grace and peace,
Pastor Steve Larsen
