Calvary United Women in Faith (CUWFaith)
As members of the National United Women in Faith Organization , the purpose of the Calvary United Women in Faith shall be a community open and inclusive of all women of Calvary United Methodist Church whose purpose is to know God, and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship, and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the Church.
We are led by a dedicated group of women comprising the CUWFaith Executive Committee. The Executive Committee establishes the annual budgets, goals, and objectives for CUWFaith and liaisons with the National UWFaith to ensure compliance with the organizations mission, vison and action each year.
We invite all women of Calvary to share in our work and activities through three very active CUWFaith Circles. To participate in our many programs and activities throughout the year, please consider joining one or more of these Circles and become an active member of the Calvary United Women in Faith.

Calvary’s Heartly House Pajama Drive a Huge Success

Thank you to everyone at Calvary who donated pajamas for Heartly House. Initiated by the United Women in Faith Executive Committee, our two-month pajama drive finished this week. We donated over 130 pajamas for women, youth, toddlers and babies. A special addition was several handmade baby quilts donated by Laura Hunter and Cathleen Gough. Susan Baggette also donated a large number of brand-new hair scrunchies for young girls.
Laura Hunter and Karen Gebhart made the final delivery and received a grateful thank you from the staff. The mission of Heartly House is to end domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and child abuse and to provide victims with safety, shelter, and supportive services. M
any arrive with nothing in hand seeking safe shelter, so brand new pajamas will be a welcome gift to those in great need of personal care.
